Our partners: how we use Google, YouTube, Meta and TikTok to automate posting and ads
The DaveLabs Team3 min read

Your customers spend their day on four platforms: Google and YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, and TikTok. Optiq Studio Enterprise works on all of them through their own official tools, so one plan, one set of videos and one budget can run everywhere at once.
Google and YouTube
- Signing in: Google's own OAuth, with PKCE and the account chooser every time. One grant reaches one channel; a second channel is a second grant. We ask only for the permissions we use.
- Posting: the YouTube Data API, with resumable uploads, scheduled publishing, thumbnails, tags, languages and the disclosures YouTube requires.
- Measuring: YouTube Analytics for watch time, average view duration, the share of each film watched, subscribers and audiences by age, gender and country.
- Advertising: the Google Ads API, with Demand Gen campaigns that show your videos across YouTube, Discover and Gmail. Each company has its own ad account under our manager account, billed by Google to that company's own payment method, and a campaign spends only within the budget set for it.
Meta: Facebook and Instagram
- Signing in: Facebook Login for Business. You choose which Pages and Instagram accounts we may use, and nothing else.
- Posting: videos to Facebook Pages through the Graph API, and Reels to Instagram from the same film.
- Measuring: views, reach, likes, comments, shares and followers, per post and per account.
- Advertising: the Marketing API. For views, an Engagement campaign optimised for ThruPlay, a 15-second watch or the whole of a shorter film. For visits, a Traffic campaign optimised for link clicks. The ad is your post itself, with its words. Meta reviews every ad first, and an ad shown in the European Union names who it is for and who paid, as the Digital Services Act requires.
- Security: every call carries an app secret proof, so a token on its own is useless to anyone else.
TikTok
- Signing in: TikTok's Login Kit. One grant is one TikTok account.
- Posting: the Content Posting API's Direct Post, with the film sent in pieces and checked against the account's own limits.
- Measuring: views, likes, comments and shares on every post.
- Advertising: Spark Ads through the Marketing API. A Spark Ad is your post itself, run as an ad: its caption, sound, likes and comments stay with it, and the views count on your post. For views, a Video Views campaign optimised for 6-second views; for visits, a Traffic campaign. TikTok runs a post as an ad only with its owner's permission, given by linking the account to our Business Center or with an authorisation code for one video.
Why official tools only
No shared passwords, no scraping, no browser pretending to be a person. Official tools mean your accounts stay yours, every permission can be withdrawn, and we follow each platform's rules on what may be kept and for how long. It also means the platforms' own measurement, which is what your ad spend is judged on. How we keep your accounts safe.
What it means for your business
- One brief becomes videos made for every platform's shape and audience.
- Posting runs on its own, on every platform, on schedule.
- Ads run where your buyers are, with the budget following the platform that brings results.
- Every number comes home to one dashboard.
