Privacy policy
Last updated 18 October 2026
Optiq Studio Enterprise (“the workspace”) is operated by DaveLabs, the company behind Optiq Studio. This policy explains what the workspace collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted. It applies to https://enterprise.optiq.studio and works alongside the Optiq Studio privacy policy for your Optiq account.
Your account
You sign in with the same account you use on Optiq Studio, through Google Firebase Authentication. We receive your account id, name, email address, whether the email is verified, and your profile picture. We use them to sign you in, show you who is in your workspace, and send invitations. We never receive or store your password.
YouTube API Services
The workspace uses YouTube API Services to publish videos to channels you connect and to report on how they perform. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s use of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
When you connect a YouTube channel, we access, with your permission:
- the channel’s id, name, handle and picture, so you can confirm which channel you connected;
- permission to upload videos and set their thumbnails, used only when someone in your workspace presses publish;
- statistics and YouTube Analytics reports for videos the workspace published and for the channel: views, watch time, likes, comments, shares, subscribers, and audience figures in aggregate (shares of views by age group, gender, country, device and traffic source).
We store the access Google grants us as an encrypted refresh token, used only by our servers. We use the data only to show it to the members of the workspace that connected the channel. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers or data brokers, use it to target advertising, or combine one workspace’s YouTube data with another’s. Channel details and video titles are refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days, and we check at least every 30 days that our access is still authorised.
You can revoke the workspace’s access at any time from the workspace’s Channels page or from your Google security settings. When you disconnect a channel in the workspace we revoke the token at once and delete the data we pulled from that channel within 7 days. If you revoke it in your Google settings instead, we delete it within 30 days of noticing. Deleting data here never deletes anything on YouTube.
Films and posts
When a member adds an Optiq Studio film to the workspace, we keep a copy of its title, picture, length, shape, language and descriptive labels, and the address of its video file, so the team can publish it. We keep a record of every post: its title, description, tags, privacy, schedule and who approved it.
How we use the data
- to run the workspace: publishing, reports, campaign cycles and invitations;
- to keep it secure: sign-in sessions, a record of actions, and abuse prevention;
- to learn, within your own workspace, which kinds of video perform best for your audience. Any model trained on a workspace’s platform data serves that workspace only, and we will ask for your explicit consent before any such training.
Where it is kept
Data is stored in Neon Postgres in London (AWS eu-west-2) and processed on Google Cloud and Vercel. Sessions are held in a secure, HttpOnly cookie for up to 7 days.
Deleting your data
Ask us at optiq@davelabs.co and we will delete your workspace data within 7 days. Closing a workspace deletes its channels, posts, reports and records.
